MITCHELL MIDDLE SCHOOL TO OFFER PARENT-TEEN WORKSHOP:
FAMILIES IN ACTION
ANYWHERE, STATE--September 15--Mitchell Middle School announced today that it will offer the new video-based parent-teen workshop Families In Action from October 9 to November 15. This six-session video and discussion program will be held on six consecutive Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:30. Located at Mitchell Middle School on Independence Avenue, the parents' group will meet in the Library and the teens' group will meet in the Commons Area.

in our community," says Denise Meyers, principal of Mitchell Middle School.
"Parents and teens face many challenges these days. This program addresses
the important issues of school success, violence, alcohol, drugs, and sex. It

skills that lead to improved relationships."
